A place for all seasons

There is nothing quite like seeing millions of snowdrops up on Guglielmo. Imagine the photo above littered with white stars. The weather warms from March onwards and the area wakes up.

This is the high season. But don't be discouraged from visiting. The high season here is like the low season on some of the other lakes. There is plenty of action, just not the traffic.

A less busy time of year but still plenty to see. The beech trees turn their forest floor yellow and orange, creating a thick, dry carpet of leaves that children can't help but kick.

The area is quiet but the weather you see above is far from unusual. The nearby hills offer views across the plane from the Apennines to Milan's cathederal.
